On behalf of the Organizing Committee, and the Pharmacy Discipline of Khulna University, in association with the Phytochemical Society of Europe (PSE), I am pleased to invite Natural Products Scientists (NPS) from all over the world to attend the PSE-NPS 2020 Summit on “Natural Products for Healthy Living” to be held in Khulna University, Khulna, Bangladesh, during 16-18 January 2020. PSE-NPS 2020 Summit also co-badging with The International Society for Ethnopharamacology (ISE) and Society for Ethnopharmacology India (SFE India).

Khulna, situated in the South-West of Bangladesh, is a river port city located on the Rupsha and Bhoirob rivers. Khulna city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its Sundarbans (World’s largest mangrove forest and the home of the Royal Bengal Tiger) as well as the historic mosque city of Bagerhat. Khulna is also one of most culturally developed regions in Bangladesh.

The conference will focus on “Natural products for healthy living” to explore the prospects and challenges associated with research in natural products and dietary nutraceuticals for the well-being of the society and the nation. The topic will include isolation, identification and assessment of bioactive plant secondary metabolites and various food supplements in the context of prevention and cure of diseases. It will also incorporate research activities relating to natural products (nutraceuticals and herbal medicine) formulation, evaluation, quality control, natural products pharmacology and toxicology as well as in silico approaches. Therefore, this conference will provide an excellent opportunity to meet natural product experts around the globe to share ideas, learn current trends and explore possible collaborations with natural product scientists, nutritionists, medicinal chemists, herbal practitioners, formulation scientists and other related colleagues from both academia and industries.
